Hayden Frew joins IVS

Hayden will oversee the implementation of our Structural Grading Quality Assurance Programme (STQAP) ensuring it delivers robust quality assurance and confidence that stress graded timber meets expected engineering properties. By joining the programme, IVS clients will also have access to TimberQualTM, an innovative online software solution which makes managing the timber verification process simple, saving time and money, whilst ensuring grade compliance.

Hayden became involved in the timber industry in 2001 as an executive officer for the NZ Timber Industry Federation. In 2005 Hayden established and developed Verified Timber Ltd, a quality assurance programme for structural timber. In his current capacity as General Manager of Calibre Equipment, Hayden has extensive knowledge of timber grading, verification and quality systems and will draw upon this expertise and experience for the role of Programme Manager for IVS’ Structural Grading Quality Assurance Programme
