Question 8 Notes – De Minimis

De Minimis only applies to a good which has failed to qualify as originating under Question 5 or 6 (Product Specific Rules).
 
For example, if exporting a shirt and all components satisfy relevant rules of origin with the exception of the buttons whose value is greater than 10% of the FOB of the shirt. If the weight of all the buttons is 10% or less of the shirt, the good will qualify under De Minimis
