Courses are held in comfortable and friendly focus groups, for one-on-one support and to encourage group participation. Trainers have real-life biosecurity backgrounds, facilitating quality and memorable sessions drawing upon their own experiences as part of the learning process. ‘Hands-on’ activities and workbooks help participants gain a full understanding of the course content and are an excellent source of reference material for the future.
All trainers hold adult teaching qualifications and can assist with literacy, or if English is a second language.
To minimise the impact on your business and personnel, IVS also offer onsite training at your premises.

'Blundstone Footwear has utilised the services and skills of IVS since 2006. During this time I have been more than satisfied with the level of service provided. This is endorsed by my staff, who are now totally committed with a full understanding of the importance of the biosecurity role we all play in protecting New Zealand’s borders. Our membership to the IVS Biosecurity Support Programme ensures our Transitional Facility, and staff at Blundstone, are kept up to date with the ongoing changes which occur in this industry. I have found IVS staff and their trainers are always willing to assist, very friendly, providing a professional service and good advice where needed. I recommend IVS to any Importer (or Exporter) who needs to maintain their Transitional Facility or who need staff trained. IVS is the company that will see you right.'
