A transitional facility must have clear and visible signage, as specified by MAF Biosecurity NZ in the Standard for General Transitional Facilities for Uncleared Goods (TF Gen). Your facility may require two types of signage:
Signage identifies your premises as an approved transitional facility and aids the segregation of uncleared goods awaiting biosecurity clearance. This protects your business by raising awareness with those working in and around the transitional facility, preventing contamination, and letting people know access is restricted to authorised persons only.
Simply choose from one of our three pre-approved layouts (below), or contact us and we can arrange to provide a quote for your specific requirements

Handy Hint: Remember, if you are a member of our Biosecurity Support Programme you automatically receive a 10% discount on all signage orders.

Signs should be placed in appropriate areas, such as entrance ways within your facility. It is important you have signs that are compliant, as these will be checked during your next MAF Biosecurity NZ review.
