Biosecurity Trainer

Due to continual growth and demand we have the opportunity for a contract trainer to join our team to deliver Biosecurity training in Auckland.The ideal applicant will have New Zealand biosecurity experience and have a genuine passion for protecting New Zealand’s unique flora, fauna and primary industries.

To be successful in this role you will ideally:

  • Have experience in Biosecurity industry
  • Enjoy facilitating learning programs and engaging with learners
  • Have excellent communication skills, be outgoing, passionate and energetic
  • Be confident and able to give direction and advice in an informative and positive manner
  • Be a team player, yet able to work autonomously
  • Be well organised, flexible and uses your initiative
  • Have a full drivers license
  • A level 4 certificate in adult training would be an advantage

This is a part time role, with the commitment varying between 2 to 3 days per week.The hours of work are generally 7.00am to 5pm, Monday to Friday however some Saturday work may be required on occasion.

Trainer - Forklift, Dangerous Goods and/or Wheels, Tracks and Rollers

We currently have a position available for either a full time employee or contractor/s to join our team to deliver Forklift, Dangerous Goods and Wheels, Tracks and Rollers training. The role is based at our site in Ruakura, however as we offer onsite training to our customers, some travel will be required mainly in the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Auckland regions.

To be successful in this role you will ideally:

  1. Have industry experience
  2. Have the appropriate qualifications to deliver the training - preferred but not essential
  3. Enjoy facilitating learning programs and engaging with learners
  4. Good comprehension of sector regulations
  5. Be a team player, yet able to work autonomously
  6. Be well organised, flexible and use your initiative
  7. Have a full drivers license

Our training is offered Monday to Saturday, so the hours of work differ and are 7.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday.

Virtual Reality Facilitator

We are now offering virtual reality training to accredited persons who require retraining. Due to this expansion within our training offerings, we have a vacancy for a Virtual Reality Specialist to join our team. The ideal applicant for this role will enjoy working with people, be flexible in their approach and be able to think on your feet.

To be successful in this role you will ideally:

  • Have an ability to engage with participants from diverse backgrounds
  • Be able to work unsupervised
  • Be able to travel nationwide for 3-5 days per week, when required
  • IT experience/interest
  • Have the ability to write training reports and meet reporting deadlines
  • Have good public speaking abilities with a happy, positive and engaging public demeanour
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Current drivers’ licence
  • Flexible approach to work and able to work out of hours
  • Full colour vision
  • A knowledge of biosecurity would be an advantage

Hours of work are variable, generally 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday however some Saturday work may be required on occasion.

Training Programme Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Programme Co-ordinator to join our existing, busy, professional and energetic team. The Programme Coordinator forms part of a team whose key responsibilities incorporate the IVS training delivery and inspection services:

  • Forklift, Dangerous Goods and Wheels, Tracks and Rollers training
  • MPI training
  • CBAFF training
  • Online training
  • Vehicle Inspection
  • Container Clearance

This is a dynamic role, where you will become an expert in your field and be the central point of the service for both our customers and trainers.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Day to day co-ordination of the Forklift, Dangerous Goods and Wheels, Tracks and Rollers training in Hamilton and throughout New Zealand
  • Scheduling of training courses
  • Liaising with trainers to co-ordinate training delivery
  • Liaising with customers via phone and email
  • Taking enquiries and bookings
  • All administrative requirements for the co-ordination of the service
  • Responsible for generating new and repeat business through active follow-up of existing clients

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Have exceptional customer service skills
  • Have excellent communication and listening skills
  • Be confident and composed, being able to give direction and advice in an informative and positive manner
  • Be a team player, who is organised, flexible and uses your initiative
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Windows Software and Web Based programs

Hours of work are 7.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. We are located in Ruakura, Hamilton.

An exciting opportunity has risen within the business for a talented and committed coordinator to be part of a great team providing biosecurity support and co-ordination services nationwide. A background knowledge and working experience within the import pathway would be beneficial as you would be assisting our valued clients with their transitional facility queries.

This is a dynamic role, where you will become an expert in your field and be the central point of the service for both our clients and the team of inspectors based throughout New Zealand.

  3. Liaising with customers and inspectors via phone and email
  4. Taking general enquiries
  5. All administrative requirements for the co-ordination of the service

Hours of work are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. We are located in Ruakura, Hamilton.
